DGN Firewall

Our on-premises cyber attack prevention system protects against the following attack vectors:

  • DOS-DDOS: IP spoofing, IP sweep, Port scan, Land attack protection, Teardrop attack protection, ICMP fragment protection, Ping of death attack protection, Large size ICMP packet protection, Block fragment traffic, SYN-ACK- ACK proxy protection, SYN flood Protection, ICMP flood protection, UDP flood protection.
  • In co-location service, firewall billing is made for each IP address for which firewall protection service is provided.
  • Firewall service is activated on a monthly basis in the current billing period.
  • Traffic stopped by the firewall does not affect the total customer network traffic or is not included in traffic counting.

Foreign Firewall

Our foreign firewall service intercepts and blocks high-capacity network attacks at their source, preventing them from reaching Turkey's borders.

All international traffic passes through our 1Tbps foreign node where malicious packets are filtered. Only clean traffic reaches Turkey. Optionally, you can block all foreign access for specific IP addresses.

1Tbps protection is available for new /29 subnets (5 usable IPs) allocated from /24 blocks or existing protected IP ranges.

  • Attacks originating from abroad are stopped in the source country

How does DDoS protection work at DGN?

The entire DGN network is protected against DDoS attacks at entry level by our automation system at no extra cost. When unexpected traffic is detected, the affected IP address is automatically moved into the protection layer. For higher capacity, the paid DGN Firewall service is enabled for the IP addresses you want protected.

Which attack types are covered?

DGN Firewall protects against IP spoofing, IP sweep, port scans, SYN floods, UDP floods, ICMP floods, ping of death, teardrop and land attacks, and fragmented ICMP traffic.

What is the foreign firewall and when do I need it?

The foreign firewall stops large-volume attacks from abroad before they reach Turkey. Traffic is cleaned at our 1 Tbps node outside Turkey and only clean traffic is forwarded. It is provided as a full /24 block or as a /29 allocated from protected ranges.

How is the firewall service priced?

Firewall is billed monthly per protected IP address and activated within the current billing period. Traffic stopped by the firewall does not count towards your traffic usage. Current prices are on the pricing page.
